1) Describe yourself in 5 words.
Hardworking, Positive, Organized, Insightful, Adventurous

2) Is being in real estate all that you expected?
I definitely did not expect the beginning of my real estate career to be a nice, smooth ride but I have been pleasantly surprised so far! This profession requires me to reach outside of my comfort zone and pushes me to be the best agent/salesperson that I can be. Since beginning my work in real estate I’ve learned the importance of recognizing and appreciating various personality types, and that catering to their unique needs during a transaction can help relieve stress and some of the challenges they may feel while selling or buying a home. Real estate is a career that requires you to continue learning new things everyday and thankfully that is one of my favorite parts of being a Realtor so far.

3) What is the dumbest way you’ve been injured?
One of the dumbest ways that I have been injured was on my first day of basketball practice in junior high school. We had started doing some running drills to warm up for practice when I got hurt. Being the accident-prone woman that I am, it’s no surprise that I managed to trip over…. nothing! It was basically a ghost hole! Haha I automatically reached my arms out to catch myself on the ground and hit the gym floor so hard that my wrist broke! It was pretty funny explaining to my classmates the next day how I had begun my basketball season so impressively… broken on day 1!

4) Where has been your favorite place to live?
My favorite place to live, and also the place I’ve lived the longest, is in Dingle, Idaho. Dingle is one of the smallest communities in the Bear Lake Valley. It’s a quaint town where you get to know all of your neighbors very quickly. Growing up in Dingle was definitely a blessing. I learned a lot about community service and what it’s like to have a whole community come together to help someone in need. Working alongside neighbors to complete what may seem like a small service project could mean something so much more to the person receiving help! I love the sense of belonging and community the people of Dingle, ID offer to one another!

5) What is the most awkward thing that happens to you on a regular basis?
The most awkward thing that happens to me on a regular basis has to be when I’m speaking to someone, and while they’re talking I miss some element of the question they asked me, so I ask, “Huh?” or “What?” and while they are repeating themselves I answer their question. The timing is so off! Haha #AwkwardTiming

6) What is the craziest feature you’ve seen in a home you were showing to clients?
This isn’t a feature of a home I was showing for real estate, but the coolest feature I’ve seen in a home was definitely an elevator! The homes in Jackson Hole, Wyoming are becoming more and more luxurious and upscale that I wouldn’t be surprised if elevators started being commonplace there. How cool would it be to have an elevator in your home?! It would definitely make laundry a lot easier to handle in my opinion.

7) Why did you become a Realtor?
I became a Realtor because I observed another agent working to assist my parents with a home sale in 2021 and saw first-hand how difficult some agents can be to work with. That other agent’s behavior inspired me to become a Realtor people would enjoy working with. While I was working alongside them to construct and finish a new-build spec home in Bear Lake, my parents became very stressed with selling this beautiful new home (even in a seller’s market)! Why, you ask? Even though it’s the job of the agent to carry the responsibilities and possible challenges during the selling process my parents felt unprotected, uneducated and uninformed during their transaction. After their sale was finalized I committed myself to becoming an agent who would take the weight off of the shoulders of my clients so that they can focus on the important things in life and actually enjoy buying and selling real estate when they work with me!

8) Whats your worst roommate or houseguest story?
My worst houseguest story actually happened this year during my boyfriends birthday party. As a group we had gone out to eat at a restaurant and by the time we returned to our apartment one of our friends was starting to feel sick from the food we had just eaten. She ended up puking all over our floors and in my kitchen sink! It was awful and we all felt so bad for her. Next time we’ll go bowling before we go home! : )

9) Why did you choose to join the Guardian Realty team? What can people expect from you as an agent?
I decided to join Guardian Realty after learning about the morals and goals of the Broker Alana Burns and the rest of her team. Guardian Realty’s stated purpose of “improving the standard of care for customers and clients in Southeast Idaho” perfectly coincides with the exact reason I wanted to become a real estate agent in the first place! They take pride in building lasting relationships with clients and making the entire process of buying or selling a home stress-free. I also felt that starting my real estate career at Guardian Realty would help me grow into the best salesperson and potential Broker that I could become someday. As an agent, people can expect me to be enthusiastic and positive during their buying/selling process. I am honest and straightforward in my work. My negotiating skills and knowledge of construction help me provide my clients with the best value and representation available. I will personally attend all my transaction home inspections, appraisals, signing appointments, etc. for each of my clients. Guaranteed. No absentee-agent here. I’ll be with my clients educating them and advocating for them every step of the way.

10) Who or where would you haunt if you were a ghost?
If I was a ghost I would haunt Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant Hell’s Kitchen. I’ve watched and loved Gordon Ramsey since I was a preteen so being in his kitchen, even as a ghost, would be a dream come true! Plus, it would be funny to see him freak out when I messed with his meals! Haha!
