Hannah Beer is a go-getter throughout all aspects of her life. From beauty pageants to running for public office, earning a masters degree in Public Administration and mastering real estate in Southeast Idaho… Whatever vision this woman sets her mind to… she accomplishes! That’s GREAT news for people in Southeast Idaho who are looking for an attentive Realtor who is out to impress her clients with excellent customer service and knowledgeable guidance throughout the buying/selling processes. We are so excited to have her on the Guardian team! Read her answers to this brief questionnaire below to get a feel for her personality and the *spark* she is bringing to our area!
1.) Describe yourself in 5 words.
Dependable, patient, honest, thoughtful, and resilient are five words I would use to describe myself. However, my mom’s five words would be faithful, hardworking, loving, committed and perfectionist. We still go back and forth on the “perfectionist” description but I wouldn’t argue with her other four descriptive words.
2.) What is the craziest experience you’ve had in real estate?
In 2019, one of my friends bought a house for $80,000 and then sold it three years later for $315,000. Watching the real estate market drastically change these past few years has been the craziest thing I have witnessed in real estate.
3.) What is the dumbest way you’ve been injured?
While turning my head to look at a souvenir stand in the Grand Rapid, Michigan Airport I walked right into a glass wall. Someone should put some color or some type of design on those things because it left me with a large goose egg on my forehead. Unfortunately, there were bystanders watching too! They were kind enough to stop and check on me. I kept my cool until I was alone in the bathroom only to look in the mirror and realize I was coming home with more than a magnet from that store.
4.) Where has been your favorite place to live and why?
I have been blessed with living and studying in England, traveling around Europe, and visiting the Middle East on scholarship; but my favorite place to live in thus far is Soda Springs, Idaho. I love the colors of the sunsets, the hospitality of the people, the open fields that Soda offers, and it helps that my cute boyfriend lives here too!
5.) What is the most awkward thing that happens to you on a regular basis?
People will tell me their names and oftentimes I immediately forget or mispronounce it. Just yesterday, Celeste from the City Recreation Department told me her name and I said, “Goodbye, Cindy!” as she walked away… I am still hoping she did not hear that!
6.) What is the craziest feature you’ve seen in a house?
When I was a kid, our family friends lived in an underground house. It was the coolest thing to the 8-year-old me. This house was equipped with a huge pond that could only be crossed by a wooden bridge that led to the indoor climbing wall. After going to their home, I seriously questioned my parents’ housing choices.
7.) Why did you become a REALTOR?
I am always looking for opportunities to make people’s lives easier and to build relationships; realtors get the pleasure of doing both! They also provide guidance for people pursuing personal and business opportunities to achieve their dreams and being a part of their journey is a privilege of mine.
8.) What’s your worst roommate or houseguest story?
During my freshman year of college, my roommate dropped out and left behind her pet rat. I was guilted into taking care of Jeffrey even though having pets was definitely against the rules. Christmas was coming around and I was flying back to Idaho for the month-long holiday. I asked her what she wanted me to do with the rat while I was gone and she told me to “just leave plenty of food and water.” I decided against that idea and gave Jeffrey a new home at the Radio Springs Park where he continues to live happily ever after… (or so I hope!)
9.) Why did you choose to join the Guardian Realty team? What can people expect from you as an agent?
Guardian Realty offers a higher level of experience, integrity, and communication during the real estate process. As a former educator, I am always looking for opportunities to grow my market expertise; therefore, surrounding myself with a team that will sharpen my knowledge is a must. AS a Realtor I commit to: prioritizing my client’s best interests above anyone else’s in the deal, to look for ways to simplify the buying/selling experience, and commit to understanding each of my client’s unique needs.
10.) Who or where would you haunt if you were a ghost?
If I was a ghost I would haunt the Oval Office and would leave behind messages about my policy preferences for each of the Presidents to find.
